Bio
Started over 6
years ago as the brainchild of Ian Lutz and Neil Jones, Vern’s
Pot O’ Chili has now become its own entity. Beginning as
a trio, now holding strong at six members, and having as many
as 12 musicians onstage at once, the Chili has definitely had
a few changes of flavor over the years. Each member of the band
contributes something unique to the sound, the end result being
a stew of reggae, funk, jazz, hip-hop, and even a little country.
V.P.O.C. has played all over West Virginia and with a wide range
of acts and with the release of their first full length album, “Punches
and Scratches” (2006) hope to expand their horizons a bit
farther. |
